It's no surprise that Butler, Rosenbury & Partners held on to the top spot on SBJ's list of local architecture firms, published this week. What's new, however, is its count of registered architects – 15, up from 12 a year ago.

Butler's staff climbed to 79 employees, including 28 preparing for their registered examination.

Lohmeyer–Russell Architects kept its second-place ranking from last year and also saw growth in 2007.
