Snap to pay $15M to settle gender discrimination suit

Snapchat parent company Snap Inc. agreed to pay $15 million to settle a gender discrimination lawsuit.

The lawsuit from the California Civil Rights Department alleged Snap failed to “ensure that women were paid or promoted equally.”

Women at the company also were allegedly subject to harassment and retaliation, according to the lawsuit.
