Snap board approves $500M share repurchase program

The board of Snap, parent company of Snapchat, has approved its first share buyback program.

The company has permission to repurchase up to $500 million worth of its shares.

The decision was announced alongside the company's quarterly results, which showed its slowest revenue growth yet, MarketWatch reports.
