Universal Security Instruments Inc. is recalling 8,000 smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
The two-in-one units may fail to alert customers of hazardous levels of carbon monoxide, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The devices were sold at Walmart.com and electrical distributors nationwide.
