Smithfield Foods Inc. reached a $75 million settlement in a pork price-fixing lawsuit.
The Virginia-based company, a unit of China’s WH Group Ltd., denied liability but agreed to settle in the suit.
JBS SA, one of Smithfield’s largest rivals, earlier this month reached a similar $20 million settlement over alleged price fixing.
