Small-business confidence rises from two-year low

U.S. small business confidence rebounded from a two-year low in April amid growing optimism in the labor market.

The National Federation of Independent Business reported today its small-business optimism index rose 1 point to 93.6 last month. That's the first increase to the index this year.

In March, the index hit a two-year low. The index's 42-year average is 98.
