On May 25, SLS International Inc. announced it selected Audio Concepts as its new distributor in Germany.
“We are very pleased to have Audio Concepts as our distributor in Germany,” SLS International CEO John Gott said in a news release. “Germany is a highly attractive market, and we believe the relationship with Audio Concepts will allow us to quickly penetrate it, as they are one of the leading professional audio distributors in Germany.”
SLS officials expect to name more international distributors during the next year as foreign interest grows.
“International markets represent a huge growth opportunity for SLS, and our strategy is to partner with leaders in their markets,” Gott said.
SLS International Inc. is a Springfield-based, 30-year-old manufacturer and developer of new patent-pending, ultra-high-fidelity ribbon driver loudspeakers, patented Evenstar Digital Amplifiers and sound systems for the commercial, home entertainment, professional and music markets.
Recently, SLS speakers were used to project the sounds of the annual George Lucas Star Wars fan club convention. Forte Pro Audio Inc. installed the speakers at the RCA Dome Indianapolis Convention Center to be used for the Celebration Three: Star Wars convention.
The three-day convention had more than 75,000 attendees, according to a company release.
Also, multiple SLS speakers were installed in Music City Texas Theater in Linden, Texas. Randy Golden, president of Golden Ear Audio, installed the units in the 400-seat theater.
“The SLS system has been a big improvement to the way everyone sounds on stage,” Golden said in a news release. “With the application of the SLS speakers, the quality of the music has gotten better and the overall shows have significantly improved. We have been very successful with SLS.”
