Slone Architects is the architect for the addition to and remodel of Stephens Pharmacy, 1100 S. Springfield in Bolivar, owned by Mike Stephens. Ozark Mountain Engineering is the civil engineer. Silverhill Engineering is the structural engineer, and Bernard Engineering is the mechanical and electrical engineer. Financing for the project, which has an estimated cost of $2 million, is through Bank of Bolivar. Set for completion next summer, the new Stephens Pharmacy will be a two-story, Tuscan-style facility with parking and a basement. The project comprises 14,000 square feet. The general contractor is Nesbitt Construction. The original one-story building has been demolished to make way for the larger store.
