Court Appointed Special Advocates of Southwest Missouri will benefit from the performance of an original play, written by Sandy Asher, at the Vandivort Center Theater, 305 E. Walnut, fourth floor. CASA is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to advocate for timely placement of abused and neglected children in safe permanent homes and for the highest quality of care while they are in the court's jurisdiction. Evening performances for "Stand Up for a Child" will begin at 7:30 p.m. March 29 and run through March 31. Matinees are at 2:30 p.m. March 31 and April 1. Admission is free, and tax-deductible donations are appreciated. Seating is limited, and tickets can be reserved by calling 417-831-8001
