The Sheraton Hawthorn Park Hotel Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Give Kids the World will be held Sept. 8 at Rivercut Golf Course. The two-person scramble tournament has an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The cost to participate is $85 per player, $160 per team. Sheraton is also seeking corporate sponsors. Give Kids the World provides children suffering from life-threatening illnesses and their families with a six-day vacation to Walt Disney World at no cost. The deadline to register is Aug. 18.
