The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce will in February host a job shadowing program with Springfield Public Schools, Ozarks Technical Community College and Junior Achievement. The program involves pairing a high school junior with a Springfield business-person for one day. The student shadows the business-person 8 a.m.-3 p.m. as the businessperson goes through a normal day on the job. The chamber anticipates the program will involve at least 100 students and asks that interested professionals register to participate by Jan. 10. For more information or to register, call Sonja Chasteen at the chamber at 862-5567 or e-mail her at sonja@springfieldchamber.com.
