Will a shiny new car keep students in school? Find out this spring when one Springfield high school student will win a new Kia Rio, donated by John Youngblood Nissan Chrysler Plymouth Kia. Students with high attendance will be eligible for a drawing May 29. "I'm excited that the Youngblood dealership is willing to step forward and offer our students such a wonderful opaportunity," said Jack Ernst, superintendent of schools. Students with 100 percent attendance during the second semester will earn two tickets for the drawing. Those with 95 percent to 99 percent attendance will earn one ticket. Students in grades nine through 12 are eligible for the contest with parental permission.
