Ladies, if your wish list includes a handyman to fix the porch steps or simply an elegant night on the town with a handsome fellow, plan to attend the Men About Town Best In the Ozarks Competition April 7. The event, held at the University Plaza Hotel, is sponsored by the Queen City Sertoma Club of Springfield. Besides getting a chance to bid on the beefcake in the bachelor auction and the handyman services auction, attendees will help decide the People's Choice to be the Boys and Girls Club sponsor for a year. Some of this year's contestants are Ron Davis, editor of 417 Magazine, lawyer John Appelquist, radio personality George Spankmeister, Jay Bowman, Kirk Elmquist and John Brown. Judges will be SBJ Publisher Dianne Elizabeth, Joy Robertson, Susan Harding, Bonnie Bell and Michele Kiser. Tickets are available at 417-838-2312.|ret||ret||tab|
