According to a Skaggs news release, Branson West Medical Care began offering urgent care May 2. Urgent care hours are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Branson West Medical Care is located on Highway 13 across from Wal-Mart Supercenter.
The clinic is staffed by Skaggs physicians, physician assistants and family nurse
practitioners on a rotating basis.
Appointments are not available, and patients are treated on a first-come, first-served basis, although clinic personnel are obligated to attend to the most serious cases first.
Urgent care is available for nonemergency problems including sore throats, ear infections, minor burns, cuts, bruises, fever, flu symptoms, sprains and noncritical cuts that may require stitches.
Branson West Medical Center accepts Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and self-pay patients.
