Six Dr. Seuss books to cease production

Dr. Seuss Enterprises announced six of the late author's booked would cease production.

The books, including “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street” and “If I Ran the Zoo," have racist and insensitive imagery, according to the company. For example, a drawing of two bare-footed African men wearing what appear to be grass skirts appears in “If I Ran the Zoo."

Company officials said Dr. Seuss books sold to the tune of $33 million before taxes last year.
