Sister Cities meeting focuses on Tlaquepaque trip

The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 18 at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, 202 S. John Q. Hammons Parkway.

The trip will be March 21–27. The cost is $1,550 for double occupancy and $1,850 for single occupancy.

Among the trip highlights, which are included in the tour price, are:

• Six-night stay in a bed and breakfast;

• Air transportation, transfers and transportation for scheduled events and tours;

• Small-group travel with options for extra sightseeing excursions;

• Up-close tours of artisan workshops and studios;

• Free time to enjoy galleries, markets and restaurants;

• A one-year membership in SSCA; and

• A Spanish for Tourists class prior to departure.
