Sinclair Broadcast Group hit by ransomware attack

Television station operator Sinclair Broadcast Group announced it was hit by a ransomware attack.

Some of the company's data was stolen from its network after servers and workstations were encrypted with ransomware.

The company owns or operates 185 television stations in 86 markets, as well as 21 regional sports networks.
