Shelenhamer Construction of Bolivar is the general contractor for this new fraternity house on the campus of Southwest Missouri State University. Larry Nelson of Springfield is the architect. Heide-man|Associates is the civil engineer, and Pine Creek of St. Louis is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer. The 8,000-square-foot, two-story structure will have six suites that will accommodate 24 men. There also is a 4,000-square-foot basement. The house will have an all-brick veneer. Crews are now pouring the concrete foundation for the project, which has an estimated cost of $875,000. Construction is scheduled for completion Aug. 1. [[In-content Ad]]
