Bolivar-based Shelenhamer Construction is the general contractor for this new fraternity house next to the campus of Southwest Missouri State University. The two-story, 8,000-square-foot structure will have a 4,000-square-foot basement. Larry Nelson of Springfield is the architect for the project. Heidemann|Associates is the civil engineer and Pine Creek of St. Louis is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer. The house will have six suites that will accommodate 24 men. The exterior will be all-brick veneer. Estimated cost of the project, scheduled for completion Aug. 1, is $875,000.
