Construction of Sight and Sound Theatre is under way for owner/developer Sight and Sound Theatres of Strasburg, Penn., doing business as Good Shepherds Meadows LLC. CDI Contractors of Little Rock, Ark., is the general contractor for the 339,000-square-foot structure. Butler, Rosenbury & Partners of Springfield is the architectural firm for the live-performance theater, which will have 2,100 seats and a 300-foot wraparound stage. Eastern temple, the building also includes a scene and woodworking shop, Fiberglas shop, a maintenance area and 30,000-square-foot warehouse, an animal training arena and husbandry area, a rehearsal hall, administrative offices and a lobby with concessions and gift shops. The approximately $42 million theater is scheduled for completion in spring 2008.
