Missouri foreclosures totaled 11,938 for the 12 months ended June 30, a 14.8 percent decrease compared to 14,018 for the same period of 2013-14.
At the end of the month, 0.6 percent of Show-Me State homes were in some stage of the foreclosure process, according to a news release from real estate market tracker CoreLogic.
According to the report, Missouri’s serious delinquency rate - comprising loans that are at least 90 days past due - was 2.6 percent in June, a 0.5 decrease from a year earlier.
Across the United States, there were 43,000 completed foreclosures in June, a drop from 50,000 in the same month last year, according to the release.
As of June 30, 1.2 percent of all U.S. homes in with a mortgage were in in some stage of the foreclosure process.
