Shoppers not feeling Black Friday this year

Score one for sleeping in the day after Thanksgiving.
 
According to a Bankrate.com report released Wednesday, less than 30 percent of holiday shoppers intend to get up early and brave the cold to shop for bargains on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Most of the 40 percent who said they would shop on Black Friday said they would do so online.
 
Blame reports of long lines, irate crowds fighting over merchandise and a holiday shopping season that started on Nov. 1 for shoppers' growing apathy for Black Friday shopping trips, states CNNMoney. Millennials are predicted to make up the bulk of Black Friday in-store shoppers, mostly for the experience.
