The Sheraton Grand Chicago is selling for $500 million.
New York-based Tishman Realty agreed to sell the property to Marriott International.
Tishman sued Marriott in 2017 after the latter company acquired Starwood Hotels. The suit alleged the deal put a nearby Marriott property in unfair competition with the Sheraton, according to Connect CRE, and the option for Marriott to purchase the hotel later was part of the settlement in the case.
