Shell to exit up to 10 countries after BG deal

Following its $54 billion acquisition of BG Group, Royal Dutch Shell plans to exit oil and gas operations in up to 10 countries as a cost-cutting measure.

The company wants to cut $25 billion to $30 billion of spending until the end of the decade.

The Anglo-Dutch company completed its purchase of BG in February.
