'Sharknado 2' becomes Syfy's most watched original movie

Sharknadoes might not be good for humankind, but they’re definitely good for ratings.

About 3.9 million viewers tuned in to the Syfy channel on Wednesday night to watch the premiere of "Sharknado 2: The Second One," according to Entertainment Weekly.

The sequel becomes Syfy's most watched original movie ever.
