Marvel film “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" smashed the record for Labor Day openings.
The film brought in an estimated $71.4 million domestically, beating the $30.6 million scored by 2007′s “Halloween.”
It was a surprise hit for a typically quiet holiday weekend for films, The Associated Press reports.
