SGF traffic roughly flat in 2013

Traffic at Springfield-Branson National Airport was roughly flat in 2013 compared to the prior year, according to data provided by the Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Enplanements and deplanements - figures counting the boarding and exiting of planes - at the airport rose 0.6 percent last year to 756,641, up from 752,214 in 2012.

SGF recorded its peak 2013 during the summer, when enplanements and deplanements hit 74,753 in July, after 73,047 in June.

According to data presented during the CVB's February board meeting, January enplanements and deplanements at SGF were 58,343, up 9 percent from 53,513 in January 2013.
