Send your texts 25 years into the future

How good are you with delayed gratification? Strong enough to wait a quarter of a century for the payoff? The creators of the Incubate app have faith in your resolve.

Incubate: The Time-Delay Messenger allows you to send messages, including photos and video, to other users that they can't open for up to 25 years, reports CNNMoney. Folks receiving the messages know they have texts "incubating" but not who the the sender is or when the messages can be opened.

The app's developers say the response has been strong enough that the company is near its funding goal of $500,000 and that hashtags for the app have already surfaced, including #drinkubating and #incubombing.
