The Senate has approved a budget bill that paves the way for President Joe Biden's $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package.
The 51-50 tally in favor of the legislation was approved with a tiebreaking vote from Vice President Kamala Harris.
The House, which approved its own budget bill on Wednesday, is expected to quickly act on the Senate's version of the legislation.
