The Senate Banking Committee yesterday rejected President Donald Trump's nominee to run the Export-Import Bank.
Trump chose Scott Garrett to lead the agency that provides financing for American exports.
Garrett, a former Republican House lawmaker, has pushed to break up the Ex-Im Bank in the past.
