Senate expected to confirm Mnuchin as Treasury secretary

Reuters reports the U.S. Senate is expected to confirm Steven Mnuchin as Treasury secretary today.

The move would return a Wall Street veteran to the top U.S. economic and financial job for the first time in eight years.

Mnuchin is a former Goldman Sachs banker and Hollywood financier.
