The U.S. Senate approved a $1.5 trillion tax bill early Wednesday morning.
The bill now heads back to the House for approval. According to Reuters, a last-minute procedural snag forced a revote by the House later today.
"Listen, people screw up. A member of the staff screwed up. It’s not the end of Western civilization," Republican Sen. John Kennedy said.
Democrats pounced on the oversight.
"The House revote is the latest evidence of just how shoddily written the GOP tax scam really is," House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi said in a statement.
