Selfie security: Uber upgrades check-ins for drivers

Uber announced today a security upgrade requiring its drivers to shares selfies before using the app.

To accomplish the security goal, the ride-hailing service is partnering with Microsoft.

The app will use a Microsoft service to match selfies with profile pictures associated with drivers' accounts.
