Self-driving car vets take on automated trucks

A startup created by self-driving and car industry veterans from Google, Tesla and Apple is working to make autonomous semi-trucks.

Over the weekend, the company known as Otto launched a self-driving truck for the first time.

The company's technology modifies existing trucks via a combination of sensors and cameras, as well as hardware and software.
