Seen images of Big Cedar’s growing sinkhole? Now watch a drone’s view

Last week, Big Cedar Lodge officials made some buzz by updating the media on their search for a cave through the sinkhole that formed on the golf course last year.

Officials at Top of the Rock had been quiet about the progress, though excavating crews have been digging with heavy equipment to find a connection to a small cave some 2,000 feet away.

Springfield Business Journal was on hand to get a look and accepted the invitation to watch the work from a man lift extended 100 feet above the hole.
