Second Canadian goes missing in China

A second Canadian citizen has gone missing in China amid an international relations tussle.

Michael Spavor, a 43-year-old businessman living in the north of China, is known for his access to North Korea. He went missing after contacting the Canadian government to say he had been questioned by Chinese authorities.

China earlier this week arrested former diplomat Michael Kovrig in apparent retaliation for the detainment in Canada of Huawei Chief Financial Officer Meng Wanzhou.
