Ken McClure, PE, of Creative Ink Architects LLC, is the project engineer for this project, which consists of a comprehensive structural evaluation of the existing second-level building structure to accommodate a change from classrooms to balcony seating.

The new structure for the balcony risers will be comprised of structural metal decking over steel stringer beams supporting nine rows of elevated seating. The balcony alteration will provide for approximately 800 new seats. The project also includes removing and altering existing floor structure to accommodate four new sets of open stairs connecting the new balcony and the main floor of the worship center.
