The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating recent Tesla stock sales by CEO Elon Musk and his brother, Kimbal Musk.
The investigation is focusing on whether the siblings violating insider trading rules, people familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal.
The probe reportedly launched last year after Kimbal Musk sold stock in the automaker a day before Elon Musk polled Twitter users about whether he should offload shares.
