The Securities and Exchange Commission gave its seal of approval to a deal involving Kansas City-based special-purpose acquisition company Northern Genesis Acquisition Corp.
Through the deal, Quebec-based Lion Electric Co. will be combined into Northern Genesis and trade on the New York Stock Exchange.
Lion Electric manufactures electric commercial trucks and other vehicles.
