SeaWorld Entertainment CEO Joel Manby is leaving the company after promising a rebound but struggling to bring up attendance.
Manby “agreed that this is the right time to identify a new CEO as the company enters its next phase of intensified focus on execution and growth," according to a news release.
Manby, who's led SeaWorld since 2015, is the former president and CEO of Herschend Family Entertainment Corp., the owner of Silver Dollar City and other attractions.
