Sears to slash 400 corporate jobs

Embattled department store chain Sears Holdings plans to cut 400 corporate jobs.

The latest round of layoffs is part of $1.25 billion in cost-cutting measures announced earlier this year.

The company also is slashing an unknown number of other positions.
