Sears owner threatens not to make $43M in payments

The owner of Sears is threatening not to make $43 million in pension payments.

The plans were made public in court documents filed recently.

Former Sears Holdings Chairman and CEO Eddie Lampert, who purchased the struggling retailer, previously signaled plans to pay tens of millions of dollars to employees who lost their jobs.
