Sears lost millions during the holiday season

Sears lost $318 million in November and December, the company announced in a filing.

Of the losses, $249 million came from bankruptcy reorganization costs. The retailer lost $69 million without factoring the bankruptcy costs.

Sales during the two-month holiday period were $2 billion, roughly on par with what company officials expected.
