Less than a week after announcing a new round of store closures, Sears is laying off hundreds of corporate workers.
Fewer than 300 people are being laid off at the company's headquarters in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and its offices in San Francisco.
The recently announced store closure list includes a location in Joplin.
