Sears Holdings posted a deeper loss in the fourth quarter as it worked to accelerate the closing of unprofitable stores.
The company reported a net loss of $580 million, compared to a loss of $159 million a year earlier.
Revenue fell 9.8 percent to $7.3 billion.
Sears had 1,672 stores at the end of the fourth quarter, down from 1,725 a year earlier.
