Sears cuts 130 corporate jobs

Sears Holdings laid off 130 corporate employees yesterday, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Most of the employees were at the company's Hoffman Estates, Illinois, headquarters.

The cuts are part of Sears' restructuring plan aimed at cutting at least $1 billion in costs this year.
