Scientists identified a new strain of the coronavirus that's become dominant worldwide, according to a new study by Los Alamos National Laboratory.
The new strain appears to be more contagious than the versions that spread in the early days of the pandemic, according to the report.
The scientists said the strain has been dominant worldwide since mid-March.
