Top right, Ken Raming adds weight to a bucket April 9 during the model bridge building contest at the 2008 Ozarks Science & Engineering Fair at Hammons Student Center. The three-day fair brings elementary, junior high and high school students from 16 counties to present science research projects.

Bottom right, Brent McKinney and his daughter, Heather, prepare their model bridge for testing; weighted buckets were hung from the bridges to test the strength of their design.
