Brent Depee, School of the Osage's superintendent since 2011, announced his retirement.
"The past year I have experienced some health issues. My family and I believe it is time to retire," he said via Twitter.
Deputy Superintendent Laura Nelson was tapped to succeed him in running the Lake Ozark school district.
