Cathy Clark, center right, supervisor for the ACE, Solutions and PALS alternative education programs, receives a $4,934 check from Nancy Fazzino, executive director of the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools. The money, presented during a March 11 ceremony, came from an Ozarks Health Advocacy Foundation grant and will purchase elementary- and secondary-level physical fitness equipment to combat childhood obesity.
